刘晓东，男，汉族。1945年生，山东济南人。1978年考取山东大学中文系古代汉语专业研究生，师从殷孟伦、殷焕先二先生。1981年毕业，获硕士学位。留校后作为蒋维崧先生助手，参与《汉语大词典》的编纂工作。1984年转入山东大学古籍整理研究所，从事科研与教学。2002年组建山东大学文史哲研究院，现为本院中国古典文献学专业教授、博士生导师。
Liu Xiao-dong, male, Han Nationality, born in Jinan, Shandong province, in 1945. He was enrolled by Shandong University as a post-graduate student on “Ancient Chinese” major in Chinese Department and tutored by Mr. Yin Meng-lun and Mr. Yin Huan-xian. He graduated in 1881 with a M.A. degree. After graduation, he worked in Shandong University and took part in the compilation of The Great Chinese Dictionary as an assistant to Mr. Jiang Wei-song. In 1984, he transferred to the Collation of Chinese Ancient Books Institute of Shandong University as a researcher and a teacher. Now he is a professor and an adviser to PhD candidates in Ancient Chinese Documentation in the graduate school of Literature, History and Philosophy of Shandong University, which was established in 2002.
